My Cute Family!

A couple of weeks ago we were out cruising through our yard in the golf cart like we usually do and I was struck with this spot. Even though it's a lot of weeds, the way the light filtered through and the beautiful color reflecting from the wheat was SO PRETTY! Riley and Kimber modeled for me and a couple of nights later we went out to attempt some self-family portraits :) We had a bit of an accident right away with Riley on the stool (he learned what happens when you jump on one) so we didn't get nearly as much as I wanted BUT they still ended up turning out pretty darn great I thought, considering the circumstances and how difficult it is to stylize a shoot from in front of the camera with a timer remote.
